Launching the 2004 Tibra Awards

Dear Friends:

With the start of Ramadan, we bring you warm wishes for a happy and peaceful month, as we launch the fourth annual Tibra Awards program. We hope to inspire more young women to reach for higher goals and strengthen their ties to the Libyan community at large.

Through the previous three rounds of Awards, Tibra Foundation honored 18 nominees, involved 13 judges and many others working behind the scene, and awarded 5 scholarships for a total of $4000.

To continue the growth, we are seeking your help in locating nominees, recruiting judges, and funding the program.

Fund raising is still a big challenge for Tibra. We hope you agree that the Foundation enables the community at large to amplify what some of us do locally toward nurturing the future generations of Libyans. A small investment now will take the whole community a long way into the future.
