Tibra Awards Update, December 2004

Hello friends.

Here is where we stand in the 2005 Tibra Awards:

Donations

• Received: $700 in total, ranging from $50 to $300 per donor
• Pledged: None

Judges

• Promised: 5
• Committed: 1

Nominations

• Promised: 6
• Received: None

Deadline for nominations: 1 February 2005

We are $1,100 short of our target. We need to hear from you! Any amount you can afford to donate will be appreciated and well-spent.

If you are a potential nominee or if you know one, we urge you to send in the nomination package before the February 1 deadline.

Tibra Awards--now in its 5th round--needs participation from more members of the Libyan community in order to continue encouraging achievement by Libyan youth. Your support is critical to the success of this community project.
